Boarding

Consider Edgewood Animal Hospital for all of your boarding needs. We have cages, kennels, and runs to house dogs. The main kennel area has large 4 x 12 foot runs, loafing benches, slanted floors and stainless steel run partitions. Each run has a sanitation channel separating it from the adjoining runs. The area is well ventilated with 8 air changes per hour. The floor is heated for winter comfort.

Dogs are leash walked outside by our attentive kennel staff minimally three times daily to give them the opportunity to exercise and relieve themselves. Their enclosure is cleaned twice daily and fresh water is available at all times. Food is provided morning and night.

Cats stay in cages in a quiet "cat room". Their litter boxes are changed as soon as they are soiled. Fresh water and food are always available.

Pets must have current vaccinations to be boarded. We can update vaccinations upon arrival if needed. Animals receive high quality food; Iams Low Residue formula for dogs and Science Diet Adult formula for cats. You can bring your own food if your pet has special dietary needs. Daily medications can be administered for an additional fee.
