Edgewood Animal
Hospital was established in the Fall of 1971. by Doctor John
Goedeken upon his discharge from the U.S. Air Force. Lot
procurement and proper zoning were finalized in the spring of
1971 with construction of the "first new building"
being completed in August.
Our Mission has
always been to provide the most efficient quality health care,
in the most cost effective manner to our patients.
Over the past
30 years, health care for pets has changed and improved at an
astounding rate. To keep pace, we have been in a constant state
of transition.
Since 1971, our
physical plant has been remodeled, renovated and expanded 8
times. Over the same period of time, there has been a continual
transition in staff, communications, equipment, medications and
services rendered. As the medical profession in general
continues to expand knowledge at an astounding rate, continual
transition of clinical medicine seems certain and we are
committed to keep up with the pace as new improved treatments
become available.
